I decided to start this thread just because there is one think that is very important for me. It is music quality. As I noticed, there are some differences in audio quality between ROMs. For example for me CM9 plays much worse than stock ICS (both tested on Poweramp player).
Do you have any suggestions which ROM for Galaxy S2 has the best music quality?
Hi, I have beats headphones and an ipod touch, I also have a Gnex. When I listen to music on my ipod they music sounds great with no kind of audio eq or enhancements but on my gnex the sound is not even close, I have the beats + xlouder patch installed along with trickstermod volume boost and hq sound but I can't get the same sound using either awesome beats dsp or noozoxide.
Guys i was flashing the galaxy S3 music player on my sgs2 I9100 after i flashed it and phone restart i didnt find the s3 music player evenmy old sound player wasnt in my menu.i dont have any music player on my phone now.i try'd to install manual from system/app and it doesnt work.
What should I do now for having the old or a new one?just one of them...

One of the reasons I went for this Note - besides the fabulous S-pen - was the fact that even in the Apple-rabid reviews, the sound was praised. The sound on the built-in music app seems OK on mp3s, I haven't tested it extensively, but the sound on webpages, eg YouTube, is awful, really tinny.
Hi all, I was wondering if someone could please help me a problem. I recently purchased a galaxy s2 i900gti and a brand new 32gig Sd card. I filled it with my Music and all was working well for a month, untill yesterday when i tried to play music files and it said "audio file not supported"? This happens with all my music.

Does it have Wolfson DAC inside? I am thinking about to change S2 for this

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone else has this issue, I'm running CM10 and the music quality isn't too bad while running the headphone jack to speakers, ie my car, home. But when I plug my headphones and and try to play with DSP at all it always sounds distorted and sound like the headphones are blown, this only happens after I enable something with DSP, the headphones are fine.
Hello. I was just wondering if anyone else has found it annoying that the notification sounds still play even while I'm playing music?! Even worse, it actually pauses the music for like a second! What gives? Is there a way to change this behavior (aside from, of course, manually putting the phone on SILENT).
I made a Tasker profile putting my phone on silent whenever the headset is plugged.
I wipe and re flash all the time. Just when I think things are running smoothly my phone starts lagging for some reason. I think it's the apps I installed. The good news is I learn what ROMs and apps I like best.
My phone runs best on shinjitsu w/ the update and alien Kernel. You all agree that the sound quality of your zte is poor.
