Initially I used CrunchBang to get a bit more life out of an old Pentium II laptop I was using for Xastir APRS (Automatic Position Reporting System) in my Ham Radio shack. It works so well I've been setting it up to run as a virtual machine on my MacBook Pro and it will become the primary OS on a machine presently running Windows 7.I plan also to deploy CrunchBang in a grad student statistics lab where I work at UC Berkeley.By the way, if you're an amateur radio operator and have been using CrunchBang too, I& (HowTos)
