I noticed your forum as I was beginning to learn more about rooting/flashing phones and I have pretty much always been able to find anything out I wanted to know Android related great forum people!!

I switched from the iPhone to Samsung Captivate. I wanted to upgrade and learn more about android so came across this website. I am totally new to everything about android and even writing in forums. Hope to learn lots and meet great people!
Are there child forums to the SGN2 main forum? I see the prefixes General/Tips/Support/Accessories but I dont see anyway to get to those child forums..... For example, say I wanted to browse all the threads in the Accessories forum. How do I get to the Accessories Forum. Am I missing something, .....I feel so stupid!
Update........ I figured it out.
I just recently posted i problem i had with my razr and i dont just want to be complaining on these forums but believe i googled my a** off and couldnt find a solution to this LED problem
so, when i receive a msg, the green led light came on but today it has only been showing the red color. i've looked for a way to change it but i only come to thrid party app, and i dont want that because..
I know that S-voice is problematic but I used it with a lot of success on my Note 2. Mainly for text messaging. Moving to the S4 nothing has changed with my contacts.
I have my wife listed in my contacts as 'first name' Wife 'last name'. I could say: text my wife. . . and S-voice would send a text, read her reply and ask me if I wanted to reply.
Im completely new to forums and smart phones... just wanted to say hi... Ill navigate a bit around the site to get to know it. I have a huawei U8185 and dont seem to find much information about it anywhere... I attempted to get rooted, flash and custom rom and expand internal memory and got stuck on the start scree.

I had to uninstall and then reinstall Ubuntu. Now I show two Ubuntu choices in the menu when I start my computer. I searched google and have removed the extra kernel. That did not fix my problem. Does anyone know how to remove the second Ubuntu choice.

I live in Zurich, Switzerland. I find this forum quite informative, useful & friendly. I am quite new to Android Phones and trying to learn abcd of Andriod. I use iPhone 4S for official and personally I use S3 and Samsung Tab 8.9. My children use S2 and my wife use iPhone 4S and iPad2.
I thank the forum members for keeping this forum quite interesting.
