Looks like I'm taking a trip to Hong Kong again at the beginning of March. I'm sure I went there last March... :blink: Other candidates were Bangkok and Taiwan but there's no beer in Thailand to speak of and it's a bit far to fly just for a couple of nights. Also, the food in Taiwan would probably not suit my palate so Kongers it is again.
My Note wont get recongize through USB.
I was on MIUI and managed to install stock Hong Kong GB using mobile Odin as one of the members suggested.
But i didnt realised that Hong Kong Notes are linked with thier network providers.
When looking for galaxy note in china, I was told in several shops that they sell the china model of note 2 for 5199 RMB but if I want a cheaper one, I can buy the Hong kong version of the note 2 which is about 4300-4700 RMB which is a huge difference.
