New Fiber TV from Google could change how you watch TV

Google thinks it is an entirely new way to experience TV, promising users, “You don’t have to settle for old-time television anymore.” In reality, it sounds like a supercharged version (in a good way) of the venerable cable box. Fiber TV is a combination of apps, services, and the set top box that provides access to television shows and the ability to record up to 500 hours of TV and eight shows at once.
