I did reinstall using todays daily build raring-desktop-amd64-20121108.iso and am trying to install ia32-libs-multiarch:i386. Using Ubuntu Software Center I am getting the following errors.

I'm trying to install Skype in 12.04LTS.
It fails to install from the Software Center, complains about skype-bin being a virtual package.
skype-bin fails to install from apt-get, requires ia32-libs.
Several online sources pointed to the installation of ia32-libs-multiarch. Fair enough.

Hello~I am returning to crunchbang linux after a while, and while I had some issues in the past with skype and #!, this is getting worse over time.With a fresh install, I added ia32-libs and the required packages.
I cannot install ia32 libs no matter how hard I try. Here is the error I get:

Googled for a while but drawn a blank.
Need to build 32-bit app on 64-bit Ubuntu.

Yes, I am fooling around trying to install "Second Life" on a new test server with a Fedora 12 64 bit system.
