NetworkManager[635](p2p1/em1): taking down device but not up

view story

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I left the server running yesterday evening, this morning i could not ping/ssh to internal (em1, or external (p2p1, 66.xxx.xxx.xx), it seems that NetworkManager disabled them. If someone tries to ping/ssh/http to this machine, shouldn't NetworkManager enable them? this new server is going to be webserver, if network cards go to sleep, customer won't be able to access the site. Fedora 17 : 3.5.4-2.fc17.x86_64 here is /var/log/messages Oct 2 16:24:20 customer2 NetworkManager[635]: <info> sleep requested (sleeping: no enabled: yes) Oct 2 16:24:20 customer2 NetworkM (HowTos)
