http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Hi everyone, I am currently dealing with a problem that cant find a solution yet. When I logged on to Fedora 11 today, I realized that there was no wireless signal. The same occured when I tried to connect with a cable. Until yesterday, everything was working perfectly. Fedora was detecting wireless or cable network automatically Thes username and passwords for the wireless access were stored in Kwallet. Everytime I was logging into Fedora, I just had to give a password to kwallet, and everything was activated. The query for this kwallet password doesnt appear since today. I am not sure if this is an issue with Kwallet, but at least a wireless signal should have been detected (even if I was not logged on to it)... Anyway, I entered in the Network Device Control and saw that the two entries (eth0 and wlan0) were given as Inactive. So I selected the wlan0, and entered the configuration. There, the buttons "Activate, Deactivate" were inactive. I tried to edit some properties for the wireless. I just selected the "Activate when computer starts", saved the configuration and exited. But when I exited, the entry of wlan0 in the main window of Network Device Control dissapeared... Its impossible to make it appear, since then... I also tried the solution proposed here (http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/sho...d.php?t=189118), but no luck... chkconfig NetworkManager off chkconfig network on Any ideas? PS: I have not made any update to F11 the last days (HowTos)
