Hello! I'm new to the Android phones and need some help. I connected my LG Optimus S to my home wifi network in order to save on data use with my carrier. I'm able to use the web with no problem if I use the browser but unable to download apps from Google Play. The downloading bar does not move or show any progress.
Here's the deal. My home WiFi works terrific for most devices. On my phone, it started to work like crap several weeks ago. I have not installed any weird apps.
It started with the Facebook and YouTube apps not loading (but YouTube mobile worked fine), and now I cannot get pages to fully load in Chrome. 4G works beautifully. My school WiFi network works fantastically.
Good morning. A few days ago my phone (my wifes as well, also a N5) developed some kind of weird issue. When I'm connected to my home wifi, facebook will not work. It will sit there trying to load data/images/pages etc. So will Instagram, the facebook messenger app and the Dolphin browser. Sometimes it affects my Gmail app as well.
I'm using ubuntu 14.04.
My home wifi doesn't appear. I'm trying to find my home wifi. Using some tap menu i tried to add new network but it doesn't work(actually i don't know how to do that correctly)
At smart phone and another computer, which is installed window, have no problem using wifi network but only in ubuntu it can not find my house wifi name.
I am using Ubuntu 14.04. It has got problem with WiFi connectivity. It is not getting connected to open WiFi networks in our hostels. But get connected to few other connections like to hotspots on friends laptop or my home network.
What could be the reason. Hostel WiFi works fine and gets connected to Windows.
So I have my phone for a month or so and everything was great.I had no problem.. everything was going smoothly. For over a weak I have the following problem: When I am at HOME and i connect to WiFi some apps such as Youtube, Google browser don't work. Just those .. the others like facebook, tumblr, 9Gag .. they have no problem..
Because Chromium was asking for a different proxy configuration - although I am pretty certain that my home WiFi has none - I toyed with the settings and managed to loose the connection to my home WiFi. Others seem to work (I can connect to some open WiFis).
Hello everyone. After I updated to Android 4.4.4, I noticed that my WiFi will stop working some time after connecting to a network. At home, when I first connect, everything works fine but after a bit (not sure how much time will pass), the connection will work, even though it still shows it as connected.
