Just installed a diskless client running CentOS 6.4 on a SCSI storage which is also running CentOS 6.4. The client can boot from the iSCSI target by employing gPXE, or sanboot.c32 from syslinux, t... [by sl6xx]
Hi guys, I am trying to set up a server from where clients on a network can do a diskless boot of fedora 16 through pxe. I have set up the server with dhcp, tftp, nfs correctly and all are confirmed to be working.
So a quick history: I have a Centos 5.8 server up and running that serves images to my local test network. We have a need to boot hundreds of different clients to do hardware sanity checks. Many of these clients are similar but may have different NIC cards or video cards and some "special" cards installed.
I have a server running CentOS6.4 that is PXE booting a diskless client (also CentOS6.4) with no GUI. I have the intention of adding Spice to this diskless client so it can pull a Spice connection to a KVM domain (currently Debian).
Any ideas on what I need to add to display a Spice connection from a cli-only environment? Sorry to be so generic in my explanation!
