Simple question really, how about a netinstall version of #!? This way the community doesn't need to worry about keeping up to date with releases, and installation doesn't require any updating. I have Debian and Arch netinstall discs, but none for CrunchBang :(Cheers, jolly
I was doing fresh installation with new netinstall media without formatting/erasing old Arch core(2011.08.19) installed system. And it is the cause of glibc-lib conflict problem during netinstall.. now solved & there is no problem with "archlinux-2012.07.15-netinstall-media"
I was wondering how easy it is to do a Debian Sid minimal netinstall with openbox. I am completely new to using the debian netinstall isos and had a few questions.1. Do I need to hunt down drivers for my machine before using the netinstall (like wifi)?2. I just want openbox, a few choice apps, and my drivers installed and working. Nothing else. Is this possible?3.

At least regarding the netinstall I can tell that it does not force you to use LVM.If you install C6 (netinstall or full DVD) on a machine with less then 652 MB RAM it will fall back to the t... [by tigalch]
I recently came across a post-Debian-netinstall script on omns's blog and this got my interest. I played a little bit with a Debian netinstall and omns's script in Virtualbox, but I can't get it to work. I thought I'd try to do it manually, so I can see whether this is script-related or my own thing. Now I just installed the base system.
