Neep Some Help

Hey, Sorry for the Noob question but I rooted my Note a couple of days ago (Still a Newbie) and was wondering which ROMs would be best to flash now. I've been using the rooted phone but I couldn't find much of a difference in performance or anything.

Ok..!! I’m starting to learn about rooted phones and un-rooted phone systems. In easy terms, what are the advantages and disadvantages of having the phone rooted or un-rooted?

Got the S3 and rooted it but now I need to know why I rooted it. I know, I'm dumb. But this thread is just packed with too many things to learn anything. It's Jelly Bean frost this, JB fire this. I can't even learn what any of it is. Somebody please tell me what I should do with my rooted phone but first tell me what ROMS and all that other stuff is.

Ok so other than my initial hello this is my first post ever. I have just rooted my Samsung infuse using Odin on gb 2.3.6 everything went smoothly and my phone is up and working fine afterwards but....now what? I have my phone rooted. I have superuser and downloaded a couple root apps ie Titanium backup, root explorer, screenshot it. I foze all my bloatware.

Need help. I rooted my Sprint Galaxy S3, this being my first time, and everything went as it was suppose to. I have the SU icon but it wont update and all rooted apps i try say my phone is not rooted. What do I need to do?

Hi, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S 2 from Sprint. I have learned that on XDA this phone is called Samsung Galaxy S 4G. I am not a pro when it comes to rooting phones but I come from a EVO that I had rooted and flashed many roms. However my Galaxy S 2 has me stumped! I rooted it and it has not worked the way it should. I cant get my GPS to work on any ROM I have flashed.

Alright I'm sorry if this has been listed before. I bought a used clean ESN Epic 4g (sprint, btw whats the difference between that phone and the Galaxy S, or same phone?)

It has CM9/ICS rooted (obviously)...a clean ESN (sprint checked it out) but I can't activate it with the rom and root. The codes given in the phone dialer don't do jack.

My phone is s off and bootloader is unlocked and I seem to have superuser status. I'm not sure if I have rooted my phone properly but I am able to download roms from CWM in android and it does ask to grant permission.

I ran the all-in-one toolkit v2.0 to root my at&t htc one x but my phone is showing not rooted. I followed all the steps and successfully unlocked the bootloader then proceeded to flash the TWRP recovery. When I try to run apps that require root my phone says it's not rooted. I downloaded RootChecker app from the playstore and it says phone is not rooted.
