Please anyone knowledgeable on how to fix this problem. Current set up is stock ROM, element 0.03 kernel, supersu 2.36 and unencrypted. Cannot backup with titanium backup. States insufficient free storage space. Also titanium states I cannot write to the titanium backup folder. Storage/emulated/legacy/titanium backup.
Well, as the title says, I recently purchased ROM Toolbox, and I already had Titanium Backup PRO. I noticed the former does also the same job of the latter, which is backing up apps + data, and has many batch operations just like Titanium.
Now, I also noticed that both of these two apps generate backup files in .gz format.
I have a rooted Galaxy S3 (I9300), with Titanium Backup Free installed.
Whenever I take backup of apps, TB terminates all the running in the background (for ex Llama, Juice defender Ultimate etc).
It even changes the keypad to Samsung keypad, if the current one is Swiftkey or Swype.
What is the way to get the apps running again after backup is completed?
One way is to buy Pro version
I purchased the Pro version of Titanium Backup before I even rooted my phone. I made a backup of everything but haven't really restored more than a few apps (no app data as I'm now running a custom ROM).
I would like to know if I could restore the Pro version of Titanium that I had... with... Titanium? Is that possible? I mean, I don't want it to crash.
