Lately my phone has been acting funny. My ringtones and notification sounds have reverted back to previous ones without me doing it. I had google voice as my voicemail and now the sprint visual is suddenly giving me voicemail notifications without me even setting it up, and my phone lost communication with the sprint servers and had to be reset up by a sprint tech over the phone.

Some months ago I sold a rooted Galaxy S4 running the darthstalker ROM I believe, to someone on Craigslist. I deleted all the photos on the phone manually and then did a system wipe. I thought that would suffice until a few days ago I wanted to see if I could get back some deleted pictures on my current phone and saw that it was possible to restore them easily on a rooted phone.
I've been playing with tasker a lot, messing with proximity sensor triggers. One of the things I had it trigger was to turn off the display and lock the phone. I was trying to find a way to get around active notifications acting do much, the other was to just drop the phone in my pocket and not worry about it.
