I recently got back into linux with a fresh install of ubuntu 12.04. I purged and removed Unity and installed gnome-classic and some gtk2 themes. I know people run into problems where the themes do not show up in the advanced settings menus, but I have not seen anyone post or get a solution for my particular situation. I checked /usr/share/themes and the themes I installed are there alright.
I currently have Fedora 18 with Cinnamon as my desktop, and I'm looking to install GTK themes so I can change how my windows look. I did some searching and have not come up with results that have helped. I do have a .themes folder for Cinnamon themes, but can't find a way to get GTK themes so I can use them.
Thank you for info. I really appreciate it.I removed everything reffering to Enlightenment (including themes, icons, config dir etc.) and then I installed only e-svn (with dependencies ofc) so I have "clean" E17 and now I have it.After it I installed e17-themes to check if the problem is solved by doing this, but it's not.p.s.
I've been looking everywhere to find where themes go when we download them from the market. I've looked in data/apps but no theme engine themes go there. Looked in System apps no themes go there. I want to modify one for myself. Could any genius out there please tell me where the market installs them? Thanks community
