http://forum.xda-developers.com – I was wondering if I could just disable offline voice typing. I am always connected to wifi/data and I never use offline voice typing because its so finicky and inaccurate. I see a 22 megabyte offline file for English voice typing was automatically download when I got jelly bean. I can't find where it is and I'd like to delete it if that could at least force live voice typing to always use data. The main problem right now that when I'm connected to data I always get this message when attempting to use voice typing with a non US English voice: Attachment 1332206 If I use English US then it au (HowTos)

I used to be able to voice type in Korean, Mandarin and Russian as well as English, using the Go Keyboard. But recently my voice comes back in English regardless of the language of the keyboard?

What has caused this?

How do I fix this problem?

Hello!

How can I get rid of Google voice typing, as I'm sure you know 4.1.2 has the default input bug and In fed up if disabling it every time. Sounds daft but I hate the wee keyboard that appears on the top left.

I used titanium to freeze the Sammy keyboard but I'm struggling to see the Google voice option to freeze.

Ideas?

Android Jellybean has Offline Voice Recognition. I think the Jellybean has inbiult recogniser software ( which was with Google servers, till ICS, which needed internet connection ). Also language recogniser for other languages are available to download, just like TTS service.

I never used Voice Recognition on android coz it used data. I will definately buy WP as my next smartphone.

Hi All

I have the Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 International unlocked phone.

I put the official Jelly Bean update on it via Klies today.

All is good except a very weird problem when you use Google Voice typing to enter text.

If i want to move to a new line, in ICS i just say RETURN and it goes to new line.

Now in Jelly Bean for Texting and for Gmail this works fine as well using RETURN
