Hello,
I have a Galaxy Nexus GSM. I rooted it and unlocked the bootloader using Galaxy Nexus toolkit a while ago, and flashed the 4.1.1 stock ROM (Build number JRO03C). Yesterday i received a notification for a system update to 4.1.2. I hit download, phone rebooted into recovery, i chose to flash the rom and everything seemed fine, however i'm still on the older version 4.1.1.
Background: I am still on ICS 4.0.4 rooted and unlocked (atleast ez unlock says im unlocked and i have superuser and voodoo says im still rooted) .
However, when I try to flash a custom recovery , ROM manager gets stuck at 100 % and closes. I have also tried installing a custom recovery via EZ recovery, and it says its flashed.
Hi all,
Been given a Nexus S i9023 by my brother who has been "tampering" with it and now it seems a bit messed up.
When booting up - it gets stuck on the "Google" screen with a padlock on it... I can get into fastboot and I can flash recovery but when I attempt to load any recovery - I get that same Google screen with the padlock!
AHHHHH Can you move this to General Thread? MOD?

* I don't have a Nexus S 4G and so I could not test this. I have no idea if it will even flash or boot. Mozilla added crespo4g to the repo so I assume its all good?
I recently wiped my whole Nexus 7, everything on it is now gone. I have Bootloader 4.18 and CWM Recovery 6.0.2.3, it's rooted, unlocked and has the CWM custom recovery.
My nexus is unlocked and rooted. I'm using nexus root toolkit v1.6.2 and I have twrp on my nexus. I have tried updating through system settings by going to apps/google play services and cleaning the cache data, then going to "about tablet" and checking system update.
After I wipe data/factory reset in the Recovery mode , my nexus 7 won't boot ! It stuck on the Google logo !
i have just unllocked and rooted my nexus 7 and installed twrp recovery and i have deleted some system file now i got stock in a boot loop,i cant saeem to get to custom recovery and tried vol up+down Power and i got option start, reboot bootloader ,power off and recovery, anyway to revieve my tablet? anyone please
So I have been through hell this weekend trying to get my Galaxy Nexus (Verizon Wireless) running with CyanogenMod 10.1.
I followed the exact directions as posted from this guy in this video:
How to Install CyanogenMod 10.1 Nightly Builds on the Galaxy Nexus - YouTube
BUT when I try to boot up the phone, it stays stuck at the Google Splash screen each time.
