I tried installing a Nvidia Driver for my acer monitor a couple days ago. Upon reboot, the graphics terminal has crashed. Can anyone tell me how I can fix Fedora 12 and get it to reboot again. I have access to the other script based terminals on Fedora 12, but I'm not sure how to troubleshoot.

I just baught a Lenovo Ideapad y570 its a really good laptop and it has a nvidia gt 555m graphics card on it. I installed fedora 17 on it and I'm tryinng to get the graphics card to work. I tried installing the most recent driver with the right kernel from rpm fussion but it doesn't want to work. All I see is the log file on the display when it boots up.
My laptop has both an onboard Intel graphics card and a nVidia GeForce with Cuda and Optimus. I installed Bumblebee and can now run applications on the nVidia card by typing optirun [application name] in terminal.
Yesterday i finally got around to installing my graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 8400M CS) on fedora 12 by using the command

I've got a Dell Inspiron 9300 with an nvidia GeForce Go 6800 graphics card. I'm using a Toshiba 20HL85 TV as a second monitor. I have the latest driver (185.18.36). My computer sees my TV as a CRT and doesn't list 1280x720 as one of the supported resolutions. I had the same problem in Windows, but managed to solve the problem on my own.

Hi,
I have been trying to set up an old machine which has a NVIDIA GeForce 4 MX NV18 graphics card. Unfortunately I didn't find any working graphics driver. Using the open source nouveau driver resulted in heavy flickering, general distortion, and a black bar on top of the screen.
