Nautilus "Fail[s] To Mount" Windows Share that Dolphin Can Access

The nub: I like Dolphin, but Nautilus is the pre-packaged file kerjigger and ought to do what I want. We have 5 machines on a home wifi-and-LAN network; using Dolphin I can see those machines and their shared folders, and can navigate to them and so forth. The credentials for each machine and share are stored and so Dolphin opens them instantly. So Samba is working. If I try to use Nautilus - on any of the Ubuntu m (HowTos)
