Nandroid restore fail HELP!

http://forum.xda-developers.com – I am cid_044... updated OTA to jelly bean and all was fine. rooted phone and did a nandroid back up of rom, then installed ARHD 15 and didnt like it so tried to restore the back up of stock rom that I made and it didnt work properly. when I restore the back up of stock rom it comes to lock screen, then I unlock and it goes to white screen with green HTC logo and doesnt go past it. so for now i am stuck on ARHD 15. any ideas on what is wrong with my nanroid back up of stock rom? and any estimate on when the JB RUU's will be available? (HowTos)

Since a few weeks my phone turnes itself off accidentally, during any operation or just lying lazy on the desk. I had ARHD 6.5 since 6 months or so and I replaced it with 6.7 like 3 days ago, hoping this will solve the problem but it didn't. So I wanna try the stock rom and see whether it helps or not, and if it won't I'll send it to rma.

So, before flashing custom ROMs, I made a stock rooted restore, recently I tried restoring to it, and it went successful, until it wants to boot.. I'm just stuck at a black screen. Only able to access recovery. Forced to flash back a custom rom =/ couldn't even get to the sprint boot animation. Anyone know how to fix the boot issue?

I was running LK8 stock rooted and performed the LL4 update via Kies. I had originally tried to do it OTA and in the process wiped the phone to get rid of the modified status only to be put in queue for the OTA. Before formatting the phone I had performed a titanium app and data backup as well as a Nandroid backup.

This leads me to the question.

Hi,getting back to stock is not really my department. So just to make sure

1. Install nandroid backup of stock rom - done 2. That means that since my boot.img is stock as well as the rom itself is stock, that i only need recovery? 3. fastboot flash recovery recovery.img - i'm on 1.29.169.13 rom, can i use any 1.29 IMG? http://www.androidrevolution.nl/ARHD...%2FRecovery%2F ? 4.

I recently installed cm9 on my neo v the problem is that whenever anyone tries calling me they get a busy dial tone. this wasn't the case in ics 4.0.4 please help

i panicked ..so i tried to restore back to how it was using cwm nandroid backup...but when i start it the fxp logo comes and the the screen goes blank with the home key having the white light on when i press and hold the home key

i had rooted my phone few weeks ago....i flashed 3 roms after dat.....n nw m back 2 stock rom after dat.....i performed a nandroid restore 2 flash back d stock rom......nw i think my fone has been unrooted again because ders no superuser app installed ....also wen i install it,it doesnt grant superuser permissions.....my question is -DO I HAVE TO ROOT MY PHONE AGAIN??....if YES, den shuld i follow

Hi all,

I have had my Note II for a day now and I love it but I seem to have an issue. I rooted and installed CWM 6.0.1.5 (modified version by Philz I believe) using Odin and I of course made a backup of my stock rooted ROM before I started flashing anything but when I tried to restore my Nand it says that it cant find the files and cant open the location.

Had my nexus rooted since day 1 and never had any issues. Lately i've been trying to use Barclay's Pingit app which doesn't work on rooted devices. So i reflashed to stock through the galaxy nexus toolkit. I did get service on the stock rom, but i've since tried a nandroid restore of my CM10 and it appears to have screwed something up.
