Hi everyone,
I am Ankit from India.
Hi All,
I'm in the market for my first Android phone (unlocked GSM). I want to get an ICS phone rather than JB (ICS more choices and less expensive; I only need a basic ICS phone, nothing fancy).
I've been to Amazon, Ebay, Newegg, Tigerdirect etc and none of them offer the ability to search --only ICS-- phones.
High-end handsets will always be in demand, but so will the lower-end devices. The latest comes from the Times of India that reveal that Samsung is working on a RS 5,500 ($100) contract free 4G LTE smartphone for Reliance Communications in India. Let me repeat..that’s contract free. We have a number of $100 phones here in the U.S., but they are all with 2 year contracts.

Hi,
Had a few questions for my next purchase and I thought this is probably the right place, love the segregation of the forums.
I previously owned a ZTE penguin as my first android and then got a Sony Xperia P. unfortunately i lost it :(
I will probably post this question up in the lounge as to which phone to take next.
i hope to help people and learn a lot here.
Cheers
If you have a phone from att why did you pick it over the others? Could you list why you didnt want other phones? I have been reading a lot of reviews and they all are basically spec reviews. The thing that makes me dislike a phone are small issues such as no custom eq's or how the picture gallery is displayed. Im interested in what others like and dislike.
I haven't gotten my phone yet, I get it tomorrow (: but I have some questions. I came from the htc design I've used other android phones to. I AM NOT A DEVELOPER. Now to my questions (:
Is the root all in one tool a custom software that you can root you phone basically hands free ?
MY biggest question. Is your community a friendly one?
How's the dev support?
Hi All,
I'm thinking of getting an unlocked GSM Samsung Galaxy Google Nexus PRIME i9250 with Android 4.0 from Ebay USA and have someone bring it to me here in India.
Can I upgrade this to 4.1? Will being in India make it difficult or impossible to upgrade to 4.1? Is the upgrade done over-the-air?
Hi, I currently have a iPhone 3GS but I've decided that I'm going to go with a Android next (as my brother has a iPhone 5 & it's basically the same phone over & over) because I want something new.
