I upgraded from 12.04 to 12.10 on my desktop. My bluetooth dongle does not get detected after the upgrade, which was working fine before.
I tried another dongle of another brand and that works. But I want to use the old one as that is good quality one that comes with Logitech DiNovo keyboard.
Hello,
I had succeeded in pairing my Logitech DiNovo Edge w/ my laptop (running Jaunty 64), first time. I had not used the Logitech dongle.
But today, the pairing was lost. I tried to do it again, with no luck. At present I'm using the keyboard with the dongle, but that is not 100% satisfactory.
I know there are problems (and have been for quite some time) with the diNovo Edge keyboard. The solution could be found easily and often you can use the on-screen keyboard to fix it.
Hi, I have a laptop dual booting Windows 7 & Ubuntu 10.04. If I boot straight into Linux & try to connect with the USB dongle, it's not there in Network Manager, however if I first boot into Windows, connect the dongle then disconnect & shutdown to reboot into Linux, the dongle is instantly recognised & works no problem.
My question is, how can this be?
I'm trying to install 12.10 on my system, but my mouse and keyboard are not working during installation. I use the Logitech MX5500 Bluetooth mouse+keyboard combo with a Bluetooth dongle.
My keyboard and mouse work in my UEFI bios, and during the Windows 7/8 installation.
HI,
Having problems that you may be able to help me out with. Have been working at if for about 12 hours with no resolution.
I have a USB dongle (Huawei E188) that works perfectly with windows but is not recognised in Ubuntu 12.04 Pangolin.
The last couple of days I have been going slowly crazy:mad:
I have a fresh install of Mythbuntu 12.04.1 (with MythTV 0.25) on my Antec Fusion Micro box with 15c2:0038 LCD display.
I have an accounting software that runs on Windows and (as per the advice of the user support) Ubuntu. The software comes with a USB dongle which is required to run the software.
My problem is that Ubuntu doesn't recognise the dongle at all, even though I can see the device listed in lsusb command.
Help, anyone?
Thanks,
Josh
My mouse, which was in complect with logitech wave keyboard works in Ubuntu 11.10 really bad. I often get some slowdowns, smth like its waiting to be processed and freezes for second. Is there some alternative driver for it (I didnt found such on logitech's site), or some other way to figure out, what is the problem with it?
thanks.
