There’s a bigger problem facing Android, and one that has an even greater negative effect on developers than operating system fragmentation: device fragmentation.
I have already optimize many times my Mysql server but now I want to have your advices.
mysqltuner:
-------- General Statistics --------------------------------------------------
[--] Skipped version check for MySQLTuner script
[OK] Currently running supported MySQL version 5.1.52-log
[OK] Operating on 64-bit architecture

Eric Schmidt: Android Is All About Differentiation, Not Fragmentation Droid Life
I keep hearing about Android "fragmentation". Can someone explain to me what this actually is and how it affects phones today and what the "big deal" is about this?
Thanks...
Hi,
I have cPanel server with MySQL 5.5.27, with lot of users and databases.
I want to convert all tables in all databases from MyISAM type to InnoDB storage engine, how can I achive this using mysql client from shell with root privileges ?
Also, I have added to my /etc/my.cnf for future tables:
default-storage-engine=InnoDB
Thank you,
Kind regards
Hi,I'm trying to configure MySQL: ArchWikimysqld won't start. My /var/lib/mysql/stovepipebox.err:120310 16:24:31 mysqld_safe Starting mysqld daemon with databases from /var/lib/mysql
/usr/bin/mysqld: Table 'mysql.plugin' doesn't exist
120310 16:24:31 [ERROR] Can't open the mysql.plugin table.
I'm studying fragmentation on IPv6. I read about the fragmentation overlapping issue. Does anyone know if is possible, and if how to block this attack with ip6tables?
Thanks
Background: I'm in a noisy environment, and I'm trying to optimize my WiFi network to have a more stable connection for the somewhat high volume of users (~50-75 on a busy day). There are 4 APs, and I've already adjusted the channels and transmit power, and overall I have fairly decent coverage.
I use innodb_file_per_table configuration parameter. I want to archive some old tables. If I shutdown the database and move the ibd and frm to archive directory, innodb shows warning that table.ibd is not available. Is there a way to move a table away from database?
Google has made a change to the terms and conditions of the Android SDK (software development kit) to explicitly prohibit developers from taking any action that may lead to the fragmentation of Android.
