So I was having this problem before the Jelly Bean update where the home screen on my phone would lock up yet notification shade still worked. The menu button doesn't do anything either, but when I power off the phone, and power it back up. I can still access the 4 shortcut icons on the bottom, and for the most part they all work minus the messaging app.
Hi. My daughter has an SGS Note 10.1 and we just updated it to Jelly Bean. There is a demo video that was installed with the update showing the added features of JB. However, we can't stop the video from constantly starting to run. As soon as the sleep button is pushed the video starts.
Hey guys,
Just wanted to share something I was working on.
The HighOnAndroid "420" Jelly Bean ROM is based off the LH6 Samsung i9300 Jelly Bean leak and I've added some things for now that I wanted.
Just as the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich brought along new features to its users, including The “Premium Suite” of applications (for the Galaxy Note), the Samsung Galaxy S III Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update brings new TouchWiz applications and features.
For anybody who is looking for the way to make a screenshot now :
Before, this was possible by tapping the dedicated button on the bottom of the street.
I regret that this button has dissapeared in the new version.
However : in Jelly Bean, it can be done by pressing the ON/OFF-button and the VOLUME DOWN button simultaneously.
Hi, i have an international Galaxy S3 (i-9300). I recently updated to Jelly Bean via Samsung Kies (baseband version I9300DXDLI5) and there's a change that has been bugging me. In stock ICS, when the screen turned off due to inactivity, pressing either the power button or the home button would turn on the screen and lets me pick up where i left off.
We recently saw the Galaxy Camera pass through the FCC with AT&T radios in it, so it’s no surprise that AT&T just announced that it will offer it in the coming weeks. This is the same camera that was introduced at last month’s Unpacked Event.
I have been reading these forums for the last few days. I have seen a lot of threads like this but they have not really answered my questions.
I need a stable ROM, where phone, internet, text, gps all work. I am looking for the best battery life. I am also not looking to flash a ton of updates.
I would like to get a jelly bean ROM if one fits my needs. If not then Ice cream.
After Samsung debuted some awesome new features on the Galaxy Note II, many original Note owners were left wondering if their devices would get a taste of those features. After already updating the Note once this year, it looks like they’re prepping another jelly bean flavored update pretty soon.
