You want the setxkbmap command. However, next time please do some searching on your own first: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xo … d_settings

What about giving Wireshark a try? Start a capture as you run a ping and see what traffic happens durring.

Well it sounds like you have a very serious hardware issue if you are being literal. XD As for Flash, the reason it is not available on Apple's products is because it is a monster battery eater. Running VMs is the same, you now have two whole OS running as well as an emulation layer.
Try to fire up Wireshark (or tcpdump) and see what's up in there? If you use DSL you probably want to set your devices to use an MTU of 1454.However the MTU shouldn't be an issue for SSH.Could you try running SSHd in debug mode? Maybe even verbose SSH also?Tried the Wiki?

Well, to help along the way, I found this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sy … er_boot.3FThat worked exactly as described. Now, though, the interface isn't failing anymore, so I can't diagnose what was happening in the first place, haha.Speculation still welcome. I don't much prefer to simply let a problem "disappear" without knowing what it was.
I think you'll be needing lib32-libjpeg6-turbo from the AUR.https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php? … _Search=Go
