Im able to pick up roaming signal, but i still cannot send/receive messages through roaming and no phone call and no internet, and the ONLY phone call i can make is the *228, BUT i have tried updating the roaming list to fix the problem and just tells me it was unsuccessful. Then i tried changing the settings under Mobile Ne (General)

Enabling Global Roaming 35 weeks 4 days ago

I'm trying to figure out how to enable Global Roaming. I enabling roaming on my phone and my service plan gives free roaming as part of the package. However, I don't think it's working on my phone. I find that I'm in alot of areas where I won't have signal and my friend with his galaxy s2 with T-Mobile will have signal.

ok so heres the problem i can text and receive texts but no calls it calls to verizon if i dial 611 and they say they cant route my call and im always roaming and if i take it off automatic set it to home only i get no signal whatsoever i flashed sprint nexus s 4g to metro pcs so i dont get it any help would me much appreciated im on jb 4.1.1 codname 3.6.0 rom

last night i was flashing some old restores, trying to decide what rom to play with for the next week.

Phone booted from one of them and would not activate. Phone is stuck on Roaming ... i got the data warning, and also the triangle is near the signal area

I've tried flashing other roms, tried wiping all data/cache and starting over.

I have had this Prevail phone since May. it hasn't gone swimming, overheated, or been abused in any way other than normal wear-and tear.

Last month, it started roaming. It would tell me that I was roaming and data charges would apply. I called Boost and they had no idea wtf was going on.

I recently flashed from clean rom to paranoid and lost my imei. After doing some researech was able to get both imei and eri restored.

my rooted android phone HTC ONE V was recently updated and after update sometimes i am off signal for some periods of time, i cannot use mobile data and call sometimes. It`s still changing. I tried restarts,swap sim cards but problems are only on my device. However it seem that when i have signal i can receive mobile calls.

Minimal signal bars? In the middle of nowhere? Your phone should automatically roam onto alternative networks designated by carrier roaming agreements, but sometimes it doesn't -- the phone can appear biased towards your home network. I've been looking at Roam Control, an Android app -- not available in Google Play -- that lets you force your phone to roam.

Long story short, I lost my IMEI while updating my Synergy ROM with one of the nightlies but was able to restore it using the IMEI injection method here. I was able to restore service but was stuck on Roaming.
