got home last night.. phone was off. though that was odd. tried to turn it on.. nothing. pulled battery put it back in, it came on. but would freeze then power off. left it off all night, powered back on this morning. worked fine for about 4 hours.. then froze again and cut off. only way it would turn on is if i did a battery pull. but would do the same exact thing! i was running froyocream rom.
Hey guys, this is my first time on this site, I was given this forum from a friend. Anyways, I just had an upgrade today with spring to their Samsung Galaxy S2. I attempted to root the new phone using Heimdall because it was compatible with my Mac instead of Odin. Somewhere along the root the phone became bricked with a flashing blue LED light.
A friend of mines phone was stuck on the HTC screen every time she tried to reboot her phone. So we powered it down and brought it back up with the volume button down+power and did a factory reset. The phone came up with the normal screen "verizon loading blah blah" and once that finished and it rebooted it never came back up. Now it doesn't respond to any sort of reboot attempts.
OK first of all, if you can fix this you are a GENIUS!
Basically, my power button stopped working today. The phone DID work fine and the screen turned on via plugging in the charger etc as it 'jumps' it.
I purchased a GS3 on Ebay and received a phone from China. When I initialize the phone the Android logo pops up followed by the Samsung logo. I think I might have a clone or fake. The phone sits on the Samsung logo for a minute and then turns off. I am unable to turn the phone back on unless I remove the battery and then it will become stuck again.
Hi,
I need some help. After a factory reset, my Galaxy si19000 takes a long time to turn on. It powers on ok but only get the welcoming
screen come on/off sometimes for anything up to 5 minutes before the main screen opens and then everything is available and works fine.
It does it with or without my simcard.
Unfortunately water splashed inside my bookbag where my Samsung galaxy nexus was stored. I didn't pull the battery out in time and although I waited a while to put the battery back in, when I did, the power button doesn't do anything to turn the phone back on. I sent it back to samsung for warranty repair and they sent it back with a "Beyond Economical Repair" notice .
Hi guys,
I'm in a problem with my GNote... I am (or was) running Android 4.0.4 stock from Samsung, then today completely out of the blue the phone froze and I had to reset, then it was stuck in the Samsung Galaxy Note logo screen. I tried removing the SIM and SD card, etc but nothing. Then I tried reinstalling the ROM via Odin but it got stuck in "Writing NAND...".
Hey all! Im new to xda-developers :) I decided to post here because I honestly got alot of help from here already. So anyway, here goes....I used ODIN to flash a new firmware onto my GS2(i9100) and all went well..got the green "PASS" box and whatnot.
Shortly after the phone rebooted but here is where my problem starts.
