My Nexus 7 literally takes hours to charge

http://forum.xda-developers.com – My Nexus 7 battery takes forever to charge. And this is even when I use my stock cable to the wall charger. I know it takes around 3-4 hours to charge it from dead to full but for some reason mine is only HALFWAY full at the 4 hour mark and I usually have to leave it on the charger the whole night/day for it to be fully charged. I have no other defects on this product except for this one. And I never dropped it or anything and I'm currently running 4.1.2. Please help. I know I can't be the only one with this problem. (HowTos)

Hi

Is it normal that my xperia arc s takes over 4 to 5 hours to complete a full charge?

I mean, I`ve read here that some people said that they have a full charge in around 2 and a half hours.

Does the fact that my arc is international and im on America? Here the voltage is around 110-120 V Or is the charger itself?

OK so i installed almost every ROM on there and here is what i found.

TOP.

:good: CleanGB ---- Takes the crown, super fast battery charge in less then 45minutes the battery is full. Over a period of 8 hours in stand by(as i sleep) the battery did not drop at all.

:confused: CM9 ---- Took over 2.5 hours to charge the battery, in 8 hours it dropped 12% battery life.

Since i updated my device to 4.2.1 charging my nexus 7 really get slow..... It takes 6 hours to 7 hours to fully charge. Im using the cable and charger that it came from the unit.

Is there a fix for this one? Thanks.

I put my Nexus 4 on charge over night, as usual. I woke up with 100% battery, obviously, drained the battery down to 75% and thought I'd put it back on charge to keep it topped up. As soon as I put it on it said it was fully charged, even though it couldn't have been.

I have a Nexus 7 factory-included charger and I was wondering if I could safely charge my Nexus 4 with it. Reading from the specs printed on the chargers, the N7 charger outputs 2.0A at 5.0V, while the N4 charger outputs 1.2A at 5.0V. If it's safe, would it affect the N4's battery longevity in the long term? Considering it would be charged with a higher current.

Hi people, I was just wandering if it was a stupid idea to use my nexus 7 while I charge it? I'm not sure if this would have a bad affect on the battery life once it is fully charged. I leave my galaxy S2 on charge over night and this has seriously messed up its battery life so I have learned not to leave anything on charge over night but an answer to my initial question would be great!

I'm running aokp jb build 4 and my battery takes a long time to charge... Does anyone else have this problem.? There's a quick charge setting but I quite don't understand it... Can someone let me know what's up with this quick charge?? thanks.. Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda premium

Hi, my EVO Shift won't charge or turn on after I tried to charging it last night. The battery was nearly dying last night, but I had to leave to go somewhere so I went two hours without charging it and now it won't even charge or turn back on. Last night, there was a blinking light on the phone, which I had never seen before. I put it on a wall charger and let it charge overnight.
