I have tried most of the more popular keyboards out there but I always come back to big buttons keyboard, it doesn't have tons of features like some of the others but i prefer the huge buttons to let me type properly.
Just wondering if anyone else has this issue.
I've got no clue why it happens, but it seems to be specific to Ubuntu. Ever since Ubuntu 11.10 the lights on my keyboard do not change. For example if I press the mute button, the button is supposed to glow orange instead of blue. This has worked fine for years until Ubuntu 11.10.
I want to change the default green to the stock blue color because it doesn't put me in a good mood and the black background for messaging makes it seem like I'm in a DOS or IRC chat. It's the reason I wanted to keep using ICS Passion, but the clock freezes randomly for me so I chose ICZen instead. I found a stock blue theme made for ICZen v1.7, but newest is ICZen v1.85.
I don't really have a question, I just want to say that it's really bugging me that it is becoming more and more difficult to customize your desktop in ubuntu. You used to be able to change colors and looks of basically anything you wanted with just a few mouse clicks, now just to get rid of the ugly orange colors that is ubuntu, you have to go through a process..
In Firefox we have two options at Firefox->Preferences->Preferences->Fonts and colors->Colors menu, Use system colors and Sites can use other colors.
I would like keep the first one checked (and this is ok) and change the second on a quick way.
A quick way could be pressing a shorcut on keybord, running a terminal command or changing a content of a config file (because I can do a she
Hello !
I am currently dual-booting Windows 7 64-bits with Ubuntu 12.04 64-bits. The problem is that in Ubuntu a lot of drivers are not working: most hotkeys don't work, keyboard LED lights are not working, and I think the system doesn't switch between the integrated and dedicated video cards. Also, the clickpad does not work properly (no right click and no multitouch).
This simple and brief tutorial is going to show you how to easily change the tooltip background and foreground colors in Ubuntu 12.04 Unity. For a lot of apps, white text on black background looks ugly.
Hello,
I have a problem with my putty session when i use the vi editor or when i do dbaccess on an Informix database.
Suddenly the background and foreground colour of my terminal change and it makes it difficult for me to see whats on the screen.
Why this is happening?
Okay, after installing amd drivers by following this guide What is the correct way to install ATI Catalyst Video Drivers (fglrx)?
Everything worked well except the touchpad, I tried lots of things to fix. I installed synclient, and edited some config files and it worked (except scrolling). but after restart my ubuntu doesn't load, it freezes on purple screen!!!
Thanks!
