http://forums.fedoraforum.org – It's either the fan on my graphics card or the fan on my cpu, but it has gotten REALLY LOUD as of yesterday . . . Is this a Fedora thing, or should I open up my computer, clean it, and maybe order more cooling paste? I have an extension already that lets me control the gpu fan from high to low, and I always have it set on low . . . I just hope my computer doesn't burn out :( (HowTos)

ok, this computer is a complete piece of crap. It doesn't even have 1GB of memory, and I'm not even sure what type of graphics card it has -.-

Is there a way to see my graphics card, and maybe other hardware info? I'd like to see if theres any hope for this computer before I throw it away :|

Hey fellas, I have a heartbreaking one for you. So yesterday my computer was working fine but Im moving to a house without ethernet ports next week so I decided to install a pci wireless card in my desktop. Bad idea I guess. I open up the case, put the card in and turned on the computer. Nothing. The fan doesnt turn on. No sign of life whatsoever.

Hi everyone, yesterday I faced a strange problem and can't find the solution yet: My SD Card seems to work just fine, I can see all the files with File explorer, open them, etc, but when I connect it to my MacBookPro it doesn't mount so I can copy-paste files on it.

I have installed openSuse 12.2 in my computer and im having many problems such that when im log in it gave me a black desktop and i cant see the mouse pointer but when im login out and sign in again it appear clear each time when i open my computer

Hi, I hope I'm OK posting this here, since it's really a question about hardware and not Ubuntu.

I'm traveling in Vietnam, and my laptop has developed a serious graphics problem. Basically, anything involving hi-res graphics freezes the computer, but I can still boot in text-only mode and everything works fine.
