el_koraco wrote:Ubuntu is like Linux Light - cheap, and with a bad taste, but marketed good.Heh. Very funny, el_koraco. Welcome to CrunchBang, kevin_scribner, and hope you enjoy the distro
The legendary el_koraco has asked for the Community to help come up with a Title to best fit his styleFor me, el_koraco is one of the most knowledgeable and helpful people we have here. Let's see what we can come up with.
Refer: How will UEFI Secure Boot affect CrunchBang?@ pvsage - no, wrong on all counts.@ snowpine - can't be you, you're so quite I wonder if you're here at times. :D@ rhowaldt - relax, not you.I was thinking el_koraco but made a mistake when I put "other mods" I was sure he was a mod.
el_koraco wrote: It's mostly your typical "dumb journalist copy pastes shit and makes it sound worse than it is".Yes, well this dumb journalist really didn't understand the ramifications, and therefore asked. Thanks, el_koraco, for the explanation.
@el_koraco: Thanks for the helpful reply. I'm really glad to hear from somebody who's tried to go pure systemd. For now, I'm thinking I'll stick with crunchbang minus systemd, as I just got here from Arch, which has been running systemd by default for several months. I really like Arch's implementation, as do many Arch users, though it isn't unanimously popular.

Without the CrunchBang repos, this would be far less magical, I think. I just didn't want to give the wrong impression of the distro to others who may be looking over my shoulder.
