Hi guys!
Recently I've been given a HTC Hero! However, I cannot play Youtube videos, TED videos, ... I haven't tried a lot of other stuff cause I think this is a general problem.
Whenever I play a video, the loading icon doesn't go away. The previous owner told me he had this problem for not so long, maybe since Youtube changed its layout.
I recently flashed the CM9 20130227 to update my old version of CM9 that was about a year old. But after I flashed it I couldn't play any videos. Either from YouTube app or the phone's player or any player. Videos just won't play. I did a re-install and tried to go back to my old ROM but the problem's still there.
Everything was working before I flashed the update.
It started a few days ago, around Feb 14.
I'm running Firefox on Ubuntu, Lucid Lynx, with Shockwave Flash (flash player) 11.2 r202 which was just updated on Feb 15.
Just about that time I noticed that some of the videos on youtube.com won't play, the video play object says "This video is currently unavailable".
Then after a while, more and more until all videos on youtube.com wo
Hey everyone, been using kantry123's jelly king v1.3 for quite awhile, and realised there were a few issues with video playback, but can't post this in the dev thread cos I haven't got enough posts yet. Anyway, here are the problems: In youtube, green lines in video playback both in HQ and LQ at times, rather unpredictable, sound has no issues though.
OS: Ubuntu Lucid Lynx 10.04
The seek button in all videos played (including Youtube videos as well as video playback from files stored on disk) doesn't work.
Tried removing/installing Totem, with gstreamer/xine and the problem still persists.
Also, videos streamed become Blank, that is, they cease to display halfway through playback.
When I installed 12.04 I also added Ubuntu-restricted-extras. I decided to try accessing flash content in Firefox without the Adobe plugin, and I wanted to experiment with streaming video directly with VLC, so I removed flashplugin-installer.
I have recently rooted my Galaxy y with 8 GB Memory card. Everything seemed to work fine until now. I have downloaded some videos from youtube downloader and Advanced download manager via my phone. However, some videos are not working. Even the mx player treats them like audio files and some disturbing sounds come through them when I play it.
I was on CM10 but restored to my old Hydra ICS. Youtube worked perfectly fine until yesterday, for no reason (as it was working earlier in the day) it wouldn't play any videos.
I get this message: This was a problem while playing. Touch to retry". I uninstalled, reinstalled via Google Play.
About 4-5 days ago Youtube videos began crashing when attempting to open, saying "sorry this video cannot be played." Previously there had been no problem whatsoever on my Samsung Infuse. This happens when going to the m.youtube.com site and clicking on any video.
