Is my battery life what I should expect?

However, I'm quite disheartened to hear others talk about the superb battery life in the LGOG, when I find the battery life in mine as simply atrocious. Under moderate to the-low-side-of-heavy use, I *might* get four (FOUR) hours of use. In tried eco mode, but that didn't help. I installed sprint zone and let it set the optimization for the battery, but that didn't help either. I left for work at 1730 hours tonight, and unplugged the phone about 5 minutes before that. This screen shot was taken about 15 minutes before writing this post. (HowTos)

I know we have a lot of battery life threads and I absolutely love this phone but mine is not getting good battery life. I'm an advanced android user, I know it well and I do know that some devices just have bugs which kill battery life.

First, here's the constants: I keep wifi/BT/GPS on 100% of the time. This was true when battery life was good, and now that battery life is bad. Disabling these will improve battery life, but will not fix my problem.

When the phone is sleeping overnight, I used to get 8-12% battery usage over about 8 hours.

So I thought I would give this battery a shot. Its the KINPS brand from China. Originally with my stock battery I was getting 18-19 hours or so with my screen at 50% and with light to moderate/heavy use.

I've seen lots of battery life forums, and most of them show great battery life (over 12 hours) with lots of screen time. I'm not even in an LTE area, but I get very good signal. My screen brightness is at about 30% and I have two e-mail accounts (Exchange push and Gmail sync).

Basically as the title says, I've bought a "refurbished" one, but I'm not sure whether it's faulty, or whether this is just the average battery life of one of these things!

Woke up at 6am, I used it for about 30 mins this morning on facebook/ebay/bbc news through wifi. Send about 20 txt messages, 10 minutes on the phone. ANother 30 mins browsing/facebook on my lunch break.

Hi everyone, a while ago my phone's battery started draining very, very quickly. Even with the screen off pretty much all the time and no apps running, the battery drained within 3 to 4 hours or so. So I bought a new, 3500mah battery (old one was around 1400). This increased the battery life but it still drained for no reason. I updated my ROM several times but it didn't fix it.

Just wondering how much battery life you guys are getting on average.

Please post battery life, screen on time, kernel, and ROM.

I've seen so many threads here and at The Verge that I just don't understand. I've been using Android devices now for about two years and I've NEVER had a problem with battery life being worse than my iPhones. I have a 3GS and the battery on it dies after about 8-10 hours of moderate use. Meanwhile, I'm at 12 hours on my SGS3 and 50% battery.

So I've been this phone for about 3 weeks now. I love everything about it but the battery life sucks.. I've only used android since I bought my Note II. I caught up with how android works right now but I don't know what apps are draining my battery life. It used to run around 16 hours then it only lasted for 16 hours now. I charged it properly all the time.
