AR5001 Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01) 03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8101E/RTL8102E PCI Express Fast Ethernet controller (rev 02) The wireless adapter has a color lit button (not a switch) on top of the keyboard to turn it on/off. Orange light = off Blue light = on With Windows Vista/7, the adapter is powered on automatically during the Windows startup process. It stays enabled when waking up from sleep/hibernate. With openSUSE 11.2, I have to press the button to switch the adapter on, otherwise it will stay off no matter what the previous state was. I must press the WiFi button when starting up and also when waking up from sleep/hibernate. What can I do to get openSUSE to power the adapter on automatically (or simply remember the previous state)? (Distributions)
