Multiple wine architecture on one OS

I seek to find the solution to having multiple wine architectures configured for applications that simply don't run well, or at all, under Wine64 which appeared in Ubuntu 12.04 and perhaps earlier, but not earlier than 10.04. I had not seen a problem running applications from "Just Great Software" before Wine was running 64 bit.
