I have an input box - edittext in android, which is not single line. I want that when three lines are complete then the edittext should stop expanding and scrollview should attach to the edittext at that time.
I have 4 editext in a listview and my listview is inside a scrollview which also is inside in a actionbar tab. when the first edittext takes focus, it is hidden by the actionbar. I would like to center or make editext visible when it takes focus.
Can somebody help me to solve my problem?
CHALLENGE!! ok so what i need is a row of components at the top, right below it is a scrollview with multiple rows, each row added dynamically with components that align with the components outside the scrollview. and right below the scrollview is another row of components that also align with the things above, or to say they're all in the same columns.
I have an edittext inside my layout but when this edittext is clicked, the soft keyboard comes up and covers the entire text field. As a result, I can't see what I'm typing and it's very annoying. Can anyone tell me if there's a way to solve this?
EDIT: I also tried to wrap the entire layout in a scroll view. I heard in that way I can get what I want but still nothing happens.
Initially, I want to display 2 EditText by default and if the user wants to add more EditText, they should use a button which allows them to display upto 3 more EditTexts and a hide button if the user doesn't want to show the EditText
Any suggestions on how do I go on doing about this?
