Multiple Distros on One USB?

http://www.linuxquestions.org – I purchased several Linux magazines from a local bookstore and they all come with DVDs that include the latest version of various Linux distros. For example, one magazine includes the latest version of OpenSUSE, another the latest version of Linux Mint, another the latest version of Puppy, etc. I would like to try these distros and would run them off a USB attached to a Windows 7 computer. Can multiple distros be run off one USB? If so, how would the boot order be specified? Or is it better to have one USB per distro? (HowTos)
