I have three columns in an Excel 2013 spreadsheet. One is an ID, one is a reference column, and one is a referenced by column. Some rows reference other rows, and some rows are referenced by other rows. The references could be a one-to-many relationship (many secondary rows reference one important row).

I've got a 150 columns x 360 rows array with random numbers (say A2 to ET361) in Excel.

How do I calculate for each column (i.e., from cell B1 to ET1) how many rows are greater than zero for the columns before it?

So, B1 needs to calculate # of cells (A2 to A361) that are >0. C1 needs to calculate # of rows (A2:B2, A3:B3, ..., to A361:B361) where the sum of each row is >0.

I have a excel sheet, which contains a cell with this content:

Please refer to the image attached. So, I am trying to write a formula in my leftmost column -- just under the listbox cell that you can see. What should the formula do? I am specifically looking for a string/value match in that row. I have called it "x" in the screenshot. I will of course copy this formula to other rows below as well.

I have to build a dynamic checklist on Excel. The fields (rows) that the user must check will show up depending on the value of another cell (actually a dropdown menu in a cell).

This value can be option1, option2 or option3. Each option will have a different set of information to check. This set of informations will show up in the same sheet.

How can I do that?

I am having an excel issue that I have never seen before:

I have a group of numbers, depending on which cell I "sum" the numbers from, excel either sums them correctly, or not.

My spreadsheet has costs and subcosts. I'd like to total the costs automatically. Is there a formula that will sum the item_cost column for all rows beneath this one until the first row which is marked rollup. Something like SUM(A13:A[first_row_with_rollup=Yes]-1)

I have an Excel spreadsheet that contains various rows of data (some which contain carriage returns) and a cell at the end of each row that uses a formula to generate a JSON string.

Have a question I cant seem to figure out using the filter.

Column A has 1400 rows with 800 additional rows that are duplicates (so 2200 total rows).

Column B has inventory amount for only the last 800 rows of Column A.

I want to filter my data so I only select rows where there is a duplicate value for Column A and my inventory amount in Column B is greater than 0 (i.e.
