Do you use any kind of Xorg.conf? I don't remember having your problem with my Aspire 6930, but I do have this 10-monitor.conf in xorg.conf.d:Section "Monitor"

I'm getting video tearing with mplayer on a Macbook Air 5,2 (2012) running Arch Linux 3.6.9-1-ARCH x86_64.
I am trying to run FlightGear which apparently requires OpenGL. Whenever I try to run it, I get this error message:
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".

I have a Toshiba laptop that I am tring to get the "S-Video" jack to work so I can watch movies on my tv.
This all worked out of the box on Fedora 9 and 10 I didnt need to do anything but plug it in.
I upgraded(fresh install) of Fedora 11 and ill be go to hell if I cant get the tv to work. The tv works during

The first is an Nvidia 8400m GS, the second is an Nvidia GTX260.

Fedora 15 is starting in Fallback Mode. :( The Driver in Use is VESA, even though I have an Intel Motherboard. (I've heard thet VESA does not support 3d hardware acceleration).
