http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I have installed Fedora 17 DVD. Any movie I play in any movie player I try is a little bit laggy. For example when the camera is rotating at a constant speed, I can see small height "waves" on the video surface. I can't say that the movies are 100% not watchable, but still it's annoying. In any movie in windoze I don't have this problem. CPU usage is about the same in both OSs. Can someone help me solve this...? Thank you in advance. (HowTos)

Stories similar to the movies play a little laggy

I'm looking for a movie player or file manager for my kids, so they can easily find movies just by looking at thumbnails. Movies are placed in separate folders with a folder.jpg for each movie on my NAS.

Hello everybody,

ICS on P7510 amazes me again, this time with Google Play Movies. It came with ICS (UK update), my son made a short movie, which showed in the filelist in Play Movies. Suddenly, the Google Play Movies shortcut disappeared from my Tab, although in my app list in Google Play, it appeared as installed.

Hi all. Just purchased my first Android device and boy...is this a learning curve! This forum is great and generally so far, so good.

I wanted to play a few .mov files which I just copied from my PC. Of course Google Play Movies doesn't work so -- as some suggested -- I downloaded RockPlayerLite which worked fine.

If you like a comedy romance movie, maybe you will like this new release movie She’s Out of My League. This movie was directed by Jim Field Smith.

Does anyone know how to play .wmv files, i have tried downloading and installing the following:

" GStreamer ffmpeg video plugin Codecs to play mpeg, divx, mpeg4, ac3, wmv and asf files "

Alos tried using both VLC media player and movie player, in movie player the video does not show but i can hear the audio and in media player i get the following error:

"No suitable decode
