Hi
I have a HP envy 15 where I have install Ubuntu 9.10 64 bit.
The mousepad are a "mac like" where mouse bouttens are in the boutten of the mousepad.
But when I click in the boutton of the mousepad there are not a boutton :-(
Its a Synaptic mousepad in the machine.
Any idea how to get it work?
I'm not sure where to put this, or to say whether this is a problem and a bug. Basically I installed Ubuntu 13.04 in Asus 1225B. If I just let it load after selecting it at Grub, the keyboard and mousepad won't respond at the logging screen, even after logging when I'm using external mouse (and onboard screen keyboard).
Hi i'm istall the Centos 6.2 X86 at my laptop, but the mousepad not work, but my usb mouse work correctly, i need use my mousepad i try to view this command and the results bellow:... [by amejiaj]
Hi. I recently installed Ubuntu, but ran into the issue that my mousepad and keyboard are not responding when I run Ubuntu.
I do have a USB mouse and that is working. Though, whenever I click on something (like the power button or anything at the top) it will automatically select what ever my mouse scrolls over. I don't even have to click.
When I upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04, I had a bit of an error--the OS no longer recognizes my Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 5000 completely. I'm currently using the gnome shell, and when I try to open the Activities window by hitting the top left corner, nothing happens. I cannot interact with anything with the exception of a couple of items on a page.
I needed to have a logictech LX500 wireless keyboard and mouse on a UBUNTU system (LUCID) 64bit. Both mouse and keyboard communicate with a single USB wireless unit.
Hi! I have Ubuntu 11.04 with Gnome2 and I managed to make it so that when I try to open a file from Chromium or Deluge, it always opens with mousepad. It doesn't matter if it's pdf, mp3, avi, even folders (with Open Containing Folder) open in mousepad.
Now, I realize that I have done something to get this result.
That mouse worked like a charm always. After some terminal coding to start work my internal Wi-Fi strange sings happens.
1. Mouse stop working
2. I plug my second same M510 mouse - same thing
3. I plug my third mouse Logitech M310 - working fine
4. I replug M510 to another USB-port - working fine
5. Some time after mouse stop working on second USB

I bought a wireless mouse on ebay (Optical RF 2.4GHz Wireless Mouse with RF USB Receiver) but it won't work on my Dell PC running Ubuntu 11.04 (Lubuntu).
I tested the mouse on Windows and it works fine.
When I re-checked the item description it says the mouse is for Windows, no mention of Linux.
Is there any way to get this mouse working on my PC?
This is the exact mouse I bought: http://cgi.
