I installed Fedora 17 on my laptop, where I use a keyboard (Logitech K120) and mouse (generic USB mouse) connected to a hub.
Then I noticed that neither the keyboard nor the mouse worked.
Slackware 12.x, xorg.conf, fvwm95, generic 3-button scrollmice, both known to be working. USB ports work for various other USB devices -- card readers, portable drives, etc.
I can't get behind my machine to disconnect my ps2 mouse (long story -- ps2 mouse was removed once, but USB mouse still didn't work), but I'd like to add a (wireless, if possible, but not necessary) USB mouse.
Has anyone installed Fedora in VirtualPC and had the scroll wheel on their mouse work? I managed to install 32-bit F17 as a guest OS in VirtualPC under 64-bit Windows 7 on my PC at work, and everything works surprisingly well except for the mouse. The left and right buttons work fine.

I have an otherwise perfectly working install of Fedora 17 on my Macbook Pro 8,2. I paired my mouse successfully, and easily, yesterday and used it for several hours. Today, after resuming the OS and turning the mouse on, they can not find each other.
My mouse is not working properly, So I enabled keyboard keys for Moving mouse arrow using
Universal Access > Pointing and Clicking > Mouse keys "On"
But Mouse Arrow moves very Slow using keyboard Keys. I want to move it in normal way as I move mouse, using keyboard keys(Numlock keys 2,4,6,8). How to solve this ?
I have a strange problem with my Logitech VX Wireless mouse for some time now.
My Fedora recognize my mouse and works without problem when i restart Fedora or when i start my system after close power from PSU.
When the system start from power off from Fedora the mouse not recognized and i must to eject and re-insert the USB Receiver to work !
Short Question
Is there a way to adjust the mouse wheel scroll sensitivity in Fedora 18?
Long Question
I'm running Fedora 18, with the standard Gnome desktop. I use a Logitech M705 mouse with the free-scrolling mouse wheel, which I love. In windows, I'm able to configure how many lines to scroll per notch of the mouse wheel.
The mouse wheel becomes unresponsive if the mouse is moving (turning) simultaneously. In terms of game play... you can't switch weapons while moving the mouse. You must stop moving the mouse in order to be able to switch weapons.
I heard that this was a know bug an easy fix... but that was months ago. I forgot where I heard this.
I finally got around to updating my OS to 12.04.
Hello, I updated from Fedora 8 to 12 over Christmas and it is working great except one problem. My laptop has three mice attached, a hula point, a touch-pad, and a USB mouse. They all work on my installation but the system sometimes gets confused, especially when I use one of the on-board mice (eg, the non-USB ones).
