I went to the mouse setting to change the mouse seep but everything was on slow, how do i make my mouse move slower and how do i check to see if my Gpu is installed, i have gtx 460.
For the life of me, I can't find a single desktop environment that supports setting both mouse acceleration AND mouse sensitivity. I don't want any mouse acceleration, but I want to increase the speed of my mouse.
I just installed the desktop version of 32 bit today and I haven't really done much except enter the screen with the key shorcuts. My mouse is laggy, it takes forever to move it and I can't do anything else. Sometimes the screen blinks and my mouse would move fast again only to go slow again. Anyone can help me?
On my desktop, I've got an IBM model M keyboard with a trackpoint built into it (attached via the PS2 mouse port). I also have a wireless USB mouse. My problem is that the mouse settings required for each are different.
When I move my mouse slowly over the desktop the pointer jumps often a few pixels (one or two) in the opposite direction of which I move my mouse. Horribly when trying to set the cursor around some semicolons in eclipse. I guess this is the result of a wrong set resolution of it.
I installed Ubuntu 10.4 amd 64 today but the drivers for the mouse are terrible, the cursor moves so slow it's not usable. I've tried setting the speed of the mouse to top speeds but it didn't help at all. Any suggestions as to what I can do? Linux Newbe here. Thanks.
I recently purchased and installed a Samsung 840 Evo. Everything was working perfectly until I installed Prime95. When it is running, my mouse (Logitech M525) pointer won't move or respond unless the mouse is almost directly next to the tower near it's USB receiver. It never did this pre-SSD. Any suggestions besides getting a corded mouse or removing my SSD? ;) Thanks in advance.
I'm starting XFCE4 manually, no login manager. Thanks for the suggestion but I can't really get used to that focus follows mouse setting, it annoys me even more .I am experimenting with the mouse settings. The mouse itself (Zowie EC2 evo) has a DPI switch and I've turned that down and accellerated the mouse in XFCE settings panel.
I had an old Omega mouse. A really cheap one and it got broken. Now I bought an Elephant 2000 DPI mouse and it is going really really slow. Almost half the speed of my other mouse. I checked control_panel for mouse options and my pointer options is set to max. How can I get my mouse to go faster ?
I just installed 12.04 on an Alienware m14x, I use a Cyborg MMO7 mouse. When the mouse is plugged in I can click on the launcher bar stuff on the left but once a window is open I can't do anything with it. I cant close it or move to other windows without alt tab.
I have tried editing the xorg file thing, but it didn't work.
