Hi, I am seriously considering switching 100% from windows to ubuntu and one of the things that will play a major role in this is if I can get my R.A.T. 7 gaming mouse to full functionality. I had to make a custom conf file to get the mouse to work because something called "X"? would need to be reset.
I have a Sword Master x9 mouse with a "fire key" that, according to xev, simulates three mouse button 1 clicks (including both presses and releases). I want to make the button to function like normal mouse button that I can bind to certain actions in games. Is there a way to disable this multi-click feature?
only 4 out of 5 buttons seem to be working, i cannot use mouse4 or mouse5 as a hotkey in teamspeak, works on windows any ideas?37: USB 00.0: 10503 USB Mouse

I am using a HP NK527AA Wireless mouse with two side buttons.
His mouse wheel is half broken: I can scroll but I can't click it.
In windows I configured the side buttons as 3rd mouse button but unfortunately the only available drivers are for windows.
Ubuntu treats the side-buttons as back\forward buttons and it's really annoying.
Is there a way to configure the buttons if though the is no drive
I just bought a Gigabyte Aire M77 wireless mouse and noticed that it stops working after resuming from hibernation or standby. No matter if I turn the mouse on/off, plug the nano-usb-connecter in or out or hit the "connect" button on the mouse, the cursor won't move. The mouse works flawlessly as long as I don't use hibernation or standby...
