Can anyone help with this issue?
I'm currently dual booting Windows 7 and Ubuntu 12.04 Gnome Shell Remix. On a newly built machine. Everything is working amazing except for my keyboard and mouse when switching OS's. If I'm in Ubuntu and restart into Windows 7 many times the mouse will not work or at the least the scroll wheel until I disconnect and reconnect the USB dongle for the mouse.
I've been having this issue for a long time without being able to resolve it, and I would really appreciate some help on the issue.
I have a Samsung RF510 laptop, which features an evdev trackpad. The trackpad works fine, but on linux the pressure detection is way too sensitive and leads me to constantly click the mouse while I'm coding.
I recently purchased a new Toshiba laptop and a Logitech M510 cordless
mouse. I am running Mint 13 on the laptop.
Initially (at least once) the mouse worked fine. Then it ceased to work.
I've seached around on various fora and found reports of similar problems
and various suggested solutions.

I just installed 12.04 on an Alienware m14x, I use a Cyborg MMO7 mouse. When the mouse is plugged in I can click on the launcher bar stuff on the left but once a window is open I can't do anything with it. I cant close it or move to other windows without alt tab.
I have tried editing the xorg file thing, but it didn't work.
I have this incredible malfunctioning with U9.04 running on an old IBM Thinkpad A31 laptop:
- If I boot up without any external USB mouse plugged in, everything works fine. I can use the integrated joystick-mouse.
Hi ,
Ever since I upgraded to Fedora 17 from Fedora 14, single clicking my mouse has become very difficult. Single click registers as a double click 70% of times. All the settings that I see have to do with delay between 2 clicks to be considered a double click, but here I am not making 2 clicks.
Hello, I just installed ubuntu 9.10 last night, and I am trying to get sound to work, but it isn't working :(.
