I configured samba server in centos 6. The Shared Directory was (Associates) present under /data. /data is mounting point. 15 samba users access this server. Each user having one directory inside of the shared directory. I want to set the space limitation for all users in shared directory. I set the limitation for the mounting point (/data) by using disk quota management.
I am trying to understand how kernel mounting the filesystem. While checking the source, I have observed that do_mounts.c file having the source related to mounting(rootfs file system is registered inside init_rootfs()).
rootfs_mount() function was called by start_kernel initially, I could not able to understand the usage of mount_nodev() inside rootfs_mount().
