We already knew that the Motorola XOOM will be receiving Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean sooner rather than later so it’s no surprise soak testing is about to begin. Motorola just sent out emails to Motorola forum members that own the XOOM WiFI inviting them to test an upcoming update.

Looks like we’ve got some great news for you Droid RAZR M users! Motorola has sent out invites to their feedback community for a soak test for the RAZR M.   Motorola recently sent out a “confidential email” to DROID Bionic owners part of the Motorola Feedback Network, so you know what that means— an update is on the way folks. What this update is exactly, no one knows.

Seems like Motorola jumped the gun a bit with the Xoom Wi-Fi soak test, rumored to be Jelly Bean, that was scheduled for last night. Apparently, it has not yet started to push, and we have no idea why.

We already knew about the upcoming Motorola Xoom soak test and now we have confirmation that it will begin very soon… possibly as soon as tonight. Members of the Motorola Feedback Network are receiving emails that pretty much state that it’s coming any time now. Though the email does not specifically state this is the Jelly Bean update, our sources tell us that it is.

  Google’s other “Nexus” tablet is all set to get yet another lease on life. Participants of the Motorola Feedback Network just got the heads up of an imminent update that is going to be pushed to the still-popular Xoom Wifi tablet sometime today:

Well friends, the unofficial Nexus Google Developer tablet has just become a whole lot smoother and buttery. How, you ask? You all remember how we told you about a certain colorful, yet buttery test run that was imminent for certain Motorola Xoom owners?

Today, Motorola provided more information on devices that will receive an upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Motorola had promised to release an upgrade timeline for ICS last October. The WiFi Xoom tablet was updated in January.

  Motorola has revised its software upgrade timetable yet again, this time denoting specific devices that will be updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Surprisingly, the list is larger than we had anticipated. The chart indicates that every device released after the Droid Bionic will receive a taste of Jelly Bean.
