Motorola unveiled two special devices this afternoon in New York City. The flagship of the two by far is the DROID RAZR MAXX HD, which comes with an HD (1280 x 720) display. It has the same 3300mAh battery found on the original RAZR MAXX, but the screen size is bigger at 4.7-inches.
As you are aware, Motorola has a little event in a couple of weeks in New York City. We’re expecting the DROID RAZR HD (XT926) to be unveiled, but it looks like there’s more. BGR uncovered more info about the XT907, which will be called the DROID M (as in DROID Mini).

We received a “save the date” from Motorola for September 5th in New York City. No other details were specified, but I think it’s safe to assume it will be the unveiling of the DROID RAZR HD. It was last October that Motorola announced the resurrection of the DROID RAZR along with the MOTOACTV.
