I accidentally deleted the top bar and now it will not save icons that I add to it.
I'll spend 5 minutes adding icons back only to find they disappear upon rebooting.
This has to be the strangest, glitchiest OS I've ever used. The icons are randomly changing positions on the bar, sometimes are half drawn or not at all, or spaced out unusually, or not there at all. What the heck?
I previously enabled the display of the Computer, Home, Trash, and Network Servers icons on the desktop on Ubuntu 12.04, probably using MyUnity. Today, I installed a custom icon set and after rebooting, all four icons disappear from the desktop. I switched back to the default icon set, all of this using MyUnity, and rebooted.
I install Enlightenment 0.17.3 on Linux Mint 15 (XFCE) using the elf/trunk PPA. Most of the applications in the menu have no icons. I installed several icon themes in Synaptic, but they don't show up the the Application Theme menu (Settings panel > Application Theme > Icons.). I tried dragging in the icon folders from /usr/share/icons to ~/.e/e/icons but that didn't work either.
Installed Ubuntu 13.10 on my Dell D830, Installed with no Problems. 1st 3 three things i Installed Cinnamon 2.0 DE, zonColor themes & icons also simple Red Ubuntu background.
Noticed on the Shutdown menu there is no Option to Restart, Just Shutdown & suspend. I can log out & Restart from the Top Menu. i know i can also do sudo reboot.
I have installed Dolphin and Krusader to navigate faster than Nautilus.
(I am happy with them, please do not advice another one)
But, when I right click, I see a context menu with no icons. In normal Kubuntu OS (not Ubuntu), there are icons in right click menu.
Could you help me how I could add this icons to context menu?
