After updating my Lucid to ICS I really disliked the new smileys in the Messaging app. When I was able to root my Lucid the first thing I did was switch the smileys for the GB ones I was used to.
i had attached the apk and screenshot lenovo task switcher from a60 rom (ics style for gingerbread)
can anybody pls mod it to work on other roms
or guide me how to or anything similar
it works perfectly when i port a60 rom
but didnt work on other

I was able to implement the emoji smileys in stock message app.
This is not only a font replacement!
The mod is still in development and i need some tester to make it bugfree
If you want to try download and flash the zip in attachment.
In the next day i will put online the stock keyboard with emoji support, for now use Emoji keyboard from Play Store

Here is a simple and nice Android progress style bootanimation.
It is 480x800 resolution compatible.
Just download the bootanimation.zip file and copy it on your device to system/media and overwrite the old bootanimation.zip file.

There wasn't a Messaging app for the stock odexed official Jelly Bean rom for GSM devices that could auto-split SMS and not convert to MMS so I used the one from MiNCO rom and odexed it.
If someone could make this app in Dark Holo style it would be great.
It's tested on GSM Nexus 4.1.1 only.
